Gloucester Mumpreneur gets a Twitter Boost from Theo Paphitis
A Gloucester based home business recently received a business boost from ex TV Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis.
Last week Victoria Sully, owner of Lylia Rose (www.lyliarose.com) tweeted Theo about her business during ‘Small Business Sunday’, an initiative set up by Theo that runs weekly.
Theo re‐tweeted Victoria’s message to his 450,000 followers and as a result, the business has received over 250 more Twitter followers. They are also now profiled on a Theo’s SBS website www.theopaphitissbs.com that is exclusive to Small Business Sunday winners.
Lylia Rose sells ‘amazing and affordable’ ladies fashion accessories. Second class delivery is free and many items are under £10. The products are perfect for a spot of female gift shopping.
Victoria said, “The past week has been amazing thanks to the #SBS competition. I have received numerous messages of support and my website hits have noticeably increased. It’s also wonderful to join such a great network of likeminded businesses. Theo hosts an annual networking event for the winners and we also have our own Twitter networking hour as well as a Facebook group. I believe the win will really benefit my business in the long term. If you have a small business and Twitter profile you should definitely enter.’
Anyone looking for a re‐tweet from Theo should tweet him about their business on Sunday between 5pm and 7.30pm including the hashtag #SBS. Six lucky businesses are retweeted every Monday at 8pm.
