Insta Natural Dead Sea Mud Mask | Review

Last week was my first week back at work after eight months maternity leave.  It was a busy week to say the least.  I’m a full time Mum and I guess a house wife in the day, then as soon as dinner is complete I am now glued to my computer in my office until bedtime working on my business and networking.  I got back into the swing of things pretty quickly, but I found I had no time to stop and breath!  Last time I worked, I didn’t really take a night off.  This time, I have decided to take Friday and Saturday evenings off to ensure I get a break and also spend quality time with Ben when the children are in bed.  For my first night off I decided to start it with a candle lit bubble bath and try this Insta Natural Dead Sea Mud Mask I was sent for review.

I can’t even remember the last time I had a bath.  I just never seem to have the time.  I also find it quite hard to switch off and relax and prefer to be constantly keeping my mind occupied!   Well, after a week of such busyness I welcomed the bath with open arms and tried my best not to think of anything but the task at hand!

Before sinking into the goose bump hot water I applied this Dead Sea mud mask.  It was quick to apply to my whole face and more see-through/less thick than other Dead Sea masks I’ve used before.  Because it was so spreadable it was a lot easier to apply and so time saving which is great if you’ve not got long to yourself!

I sunk into my bubble bath and lay back closing my eyes for a few minutes.  After around what I can only guess is five to ten minutes, the mask began to dry and I felt my skin tighten as it crusted up.  I don’t know about you, but I find something ever so satisfying about this feeling.  It also makes me open and close my mouth hoping to crack the mask!

Not seeing what I was doing, I wasn’t sure if I’d wiped the mask off properly using a flannel in the bath, but on inspection afterwards it had all been washed away.  With other masks they can be quite difficult to remove every last bit, but this one is easy as I completely removed it ‘blind’.

As I type this it is the next morning and my skin is still super soft and smooth.  So much more so than it normally would be first thing before cleansing, etc.  It feels like I’ve already moisturised it.  I could actually just pop my make up on – my skin looks as though I’ve already completed its morning care routine.  It’s so clean and in excellent condition.  The mask must have thoroughly cleansed all the impurities away.

I very much enjoyed my first ‘night off’ and will be making this a weekly ritual.  This tub is so generous I’ll be able to use it for weeks, if not months.  Although I was sent this product in exchange for a review, I’d be happy to purchase this myself for continued use.
