My motto and goals for 2018 – YOU CAN DO IT

Posted on

You can do it!

Yes you can. Get out there and make it happen. Follow your dreams.

You can do it!

With enough passion, determination and willingness you can do anything you can put your mind to.

My motto and goals for 2018 – YOU CAN DO IT

Stop with the excuses.

‘I’m too old’
‘I don’t have qualifications’
‘It’s too risky’
‘I’m not sure of myself’
‘I can’t do it’

If there’s a will, there’s a way. If not, there’s just an excuse.  If you really want something, you will find a way.

You can do it!

My aims for 2018 are to be happier, healthier, wiser and wealthier. When I’m healthy, wise and wealthy I feel happy. When I feel good, life is good. If life is good, I feel good.

Wealth is not about being silly rich to me having oodles of cash. It’s about having enough. Not spending more than we earn. Budgeting so we can save every month. Having a safety net for an emergency. Thinking about our future and saving towards it. Stopping the mind-set of spending every last penny. Enjoying no spend weeks and seeing them as a challenge. Not touching our savings once we’ve ran out of money for the month. If only I’d had this mind-set ten years ago!

Health is everything to me. I need to be healthy to give my kids the best life possible and be here as long as possible for them. I want to safeguard my health for the future. I want to try my best to avoid early death or horrid disease. If I can prevent it then I’ll try. I’ll continue on my path to eat only the best foods to nourish my body and to exercise as much as possible. I’m a big believer in you are what you eat and food is a powerful medicine (or a slow poison if you eat the wrong things). I do not want to poison my body. I quit refined sugar in 2017 and I won’t be returning to it.  I’ve quit dairy for 2018 and I’m interested to see how it affects me.  I’ve already quit the dairy just over a week ago and it’s going fine.  Once I put my mind to something, that’s my mind made up.

I only wish I knew ten years ago what I know now. I will continue to research to discover the truth. I won’t be fooled by the many foolish articles by the mainstream media. I understand the importance of eating healthily so much more thanks to my daily research. I understand the conspiracies in the food industry and beyond. I’ll continue to become wiser and broaden my mind, remembering to question the intentions of the people behind the information.  I yearn to learn and wish I’d started learning at an earlier age.  If only we could stop time to be able to learn everything we wanted to.

I want to be thankful for what I have and realise how happy, healthy, wise and wealthy I already am. I wish to continue on this exciting journey and enjoy 2018 as much as I’ve enjoyed 2017.

I also wish to continue following my dream of self-employment. I’ve successfully earned a full time wage by myself for an entire year. I’ve got this. I can do this. If you really want to, you can too!

I can do this!

I wish you all the best with your goals.

Happy 2018!
