How to make extra cash online with Qmee

There are lots of ways to make extra cash and even free money with Qmee, from completing surveys, searching the web and even cashback.

• Surveys

Survey rewards vary a lot. I've had recent surveys pay anywhere from 34p up to 77p for a 10-15 minute survey.

The best part? There's no minimum cashout, so even if you only earn a few pence, you can still withdraw it straight to your PayPal account.

There are numerous surveys for all different amounts. You can see the price you'll be paid for the survey and approximately how long it'll take.

Once you've finished the survey successfully, the reward shows up in your balance and History within about 2 hours.

Simply connect your PayPal account to cash out. There's no minimum threshold and no PayPal fees. Brilliant!

• Search

If you install the Qmee browser extension, you can earn extra cash simply for browsing and searching online. You can still search using Google, but Qmee adds some extra results and you'll get paid if you click one of them.

Here's how Qmee explains it: the app sends your search terms and product views across major search engines, retail sites and other sites with search functionality, so it can display additional relevant results. If you click a Qmee result, it sends limited browsing activity (just the web page address, for a limited time) so it can reward users with a genuine interest in that result.

Qmee has cashback offers on its site too. You can search for cashback offers on the main cashback page - past examples have included cashback on a big supermarket online shop.

• Pop Quiz

Watch out for the pop quiz feature, where you can instantly earn money for answering a question correctly. I once correctly answered how many teeth an adult has for 3p - took about 5 seconds!

There are lots of ways to make extra money with Qmee. It also has cashback on gaming and other deals, on top of everything above.

The only downside is getting screened out of surveys sometimes - annoying, but it happens on most survey sites.

It's an easy way to make some small amounts of extra cash in your spare time, like when you're a passenger in the car or watching TV in the evening. 

Is Qmee legit?

Yes, Qmee is a genuine, legitimate site and I've been using it myself since 2022 with no issues getting paid, so far.

That said, it's not without its flaws. Qmee sits at around 3.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot, and the most common complaints are slow customer service and getting screened out of surveys partway through, which matches what I mentioned above. A good number of reviewers also report their accounts being blocked or getting issues withdrawing their money, so it can be a bit temperamental. I've been lucky so far, but it's worth going in with your eyes open.

None of that has put me off using it. It's still a great way to make a bit of extra cash in your spare time, just go in with realistic expectations rather than treating it as a big earner. It's worth doing while watching TV, so you're multitasking and not too annoyed if you get screened out of a survey.
