Nutty goodness in a face mask
I’ve somehow been so busy lately I totally forgot about my weekly Sunday face mask sessions. My skin had dried out and spots were popping up all over the place. It’s only when I jumped back startled, after catching a glimpse of myself in the mirror, did I remember I had not nourished it with a face mask for a good few weeks. Oops.
I picked the mask I felt looked most nourishing and almost as if it would feed my skin. I have a stash of masks in my cupboard, around ten or so (from my last Wilkos face mask haul) so luckily I didn’t have to leave the house and subject any poor shop assistants to the horror of my skin.
I went for the Montagne Jeunesse Nut Oil Masque.
There’s something rather wholesome about nutty smells. It’s a scent which seems beneficial for the skin before even being applied; an aroma of nature and goodness. This face mask is exactly that. Goodness in a packet. Goodness for your skin.
After typing the above I checked their site to see what they have to say. They actually say something similar about feeding your skin! Here’s what Montagne say: ‘Feed your skin with this African delight, you’d be nuts not to. The goodness of nourishing Baobab Oil sourced from the African ‘Tree of Life’ & miracle Marula Oil penetrates deep down to reveal glowing & nourished skin.’
I definitely agree. Nourished, glowing, healthy skin which also appeared softer, smoother and way more supple (by sight, not just touch) was instant to see. Perhaps the results were more astounding as my skin was in dire need of a mask, but the benefits were clear to see. I am ever so impressed with this version and will definitely repurchase.
I left this on for around twenty minutes and it was suitably dried. I used a flannel and warm water to rub this from my face. If you want to be frugal the pack can provide two applications. Just pop the pack in a self seal bag, such as a sandwich bag, and store in the fridge until needed.
